Tucson Arizona Realtor: Finding a Realtor in Tucson, Arizona

Custom Search

If you're hunting for a Tucson, Arizona realtor and not sure where to start your search, keep reading for a list of recommended search methods alongside a series of questions that will help you evaluate a prospective agent.

Tucson Association of Realtors

The Tucson Association of Realtors (TAR) offers a comprehensive MLS (Multiple Listings Service) web page that allows the public to find a local Tucson, Arizona realtor and search through their housing listings. The site is available at http://www.tarmls.com.

Visitors to the site can even search for upcoming Open Houses, which are great way to interview prospective Realtors without the formality of an actual interview or the sales pitch you may get with a phone call.

Arizona Association of Realtors (AAR)

The website for the Arizona Association of Realtors, online at http://www.aaronline.com, allows public visitors to search for a realtor using their “Find a Realtor” function. The site allows you to search by name, city and professional designation.

They also provide a listing of multilingual realtors, which can be particularly helpful for the Tucson area.

Get Referrals

One of the best ways to find a business provider, is to trust word-of-mouth advice. Ask your family and friends for realtor referrals. Find out from them who they've used in the past and what they did and didn't like about the service.

Evaluate Your Prospects

Before you hire a realtor, ask yourself the following questions:
  • Is their real estate license in good standing?
  • Do they belong to the MLS?
  • Are they full-time realtors?
  • Do their specialties and designations match my needs?
  • If I have to sign a commitment, what services will they provide?
  • What sets this realtor apart from the competition?
  • Have I checked at least two past client references?
Once you have done a full evaluation of your prospective realtors, you should have no problem making a decision. Remember, to find a quality Tucson, Arizona realtor, start your search with the Tucson Association of Realtors, the Arizona Association of Realtors and, of course, your own family and friends.
